$1.9 million partnership with Jayco, Dometic, Top Parks and NewsCorp


Caravan Industry Association of Australia has partnered with Jayco, Dometic, Top Parks and NewsCorp to showcase the caravan and camping lifestyle through the new Win a Weekender competition.

Pre-promotion has now officially begun, with entries opening from July 1.

Readers and digital subscribers of all 22 NewsCorp mastheads around the country including the Daily Telegraph, the Courier Mail, the Sunday Mail and more will have the opportunity to win one of three Jayco recreational vehicles, plus daily prize packs from Dometic and Top Parks.

In order to enter, all readers have to do is either subscribe digitally or buy a copy of their local paper and enter the daily code word online, with Caravan Industry Association of Australia holding the rights to the digital entry points. The more times people enter, the larger their chance of winning.

The promotion is worth a total of $1.9 million and will include a combination of masthead promotion, social media and website content. News Corp Australia newspapers reach a total of 11.9 million Australians every month

Additionally, the competition will also be promoted in over 1800 news agents around the country in a fantastic extension of the print and digital promotion designed to engage people from the minute they enter the news agency.

This multi-faceted marketing approach will ensure maximum numbers of Australians will be exposed to the promotion, bringing the caravan and camping lifestyle to the front of mind ahead of school holidays.

As part of the partnership, we will also work with the NewsCorp editorial team to promote the caravan and camping lifestyle through content regarding our Real Richness Report, domestic snapshots, family trips and different options including ‘glamping’.

The Win a Weekender promotion will offer a total of 93 frequency prizes. Each day we will be giving away five $1000 Top Parks vouchers and one $2900 Dometic camping pack. Throughout the competition, the three major prizes are a Jayco Camper Trailer Swift, Jayco Freedom Motorhome and a Jayco Journey Caravan.

Additionally, in the leadup to the competition, Davey Lloyd and Holly Holmes will be promoting Jayco and the caravan and camping lifestyle across social media.

Davey was a contestant on the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, while Holly is a model and brand ambassador. The pair have a combined social media following of over 100, 000 and are currently staying in an industry product throughout the week and promoting it across Instagram.

The promotion will be live from July 1 to July 15.
