Channel Ten taking camping road trip!

The industry response to the devastating summer bushfires via the ‘Keep on Camping’ brand continues to gain momentum.
Now well and truly in the ‘Book Now’ phase, there is increasing numbers of consumer traffic visiting the website, with over 21, 000 users visiting to find inspiration on taking a camping holiday. The website also includes access to significant value deals provided by industry encouraging consumers to take a camping trip in a fire affected area.
Over the weekend, Channel Ten’s show ‘Studio 10’ reporter Narelda De-Ann began a camping road trip to fire affected areas. The week is being spent in Victoria, with the team working their way on a loop from Melbourne to Bright, Lakes Entrance, Stratford and back.
This activity provides an important opportunity to nationally highlight that taking a camping road trip is not just a great activity to undertake but also helps support communities Australia wide that desperately want to welcome back camping tourists.
Activities such as this simply would not be possible without working cooperatively and with the financial support via donations to the ‘Help A Mate’ fund.
