This year, CRVA in conjunction with BIG4 Holiday Parks, Jayco Caravans and Channel Eleven’s kid show ‘Toasted TV’, are taking Australian kids on a 12-week once in a lifetime caravanning & camping adventure with the first episode airing on 18 March.
‘Toasted TV’ hosts Kel and Seamus are travelling in a Jayco motorhome, showcasing the best, the most interesting, the strangest and the most beautiful Australian destinations has to offer. The kids and youth market will be educated on the joys of touring and adventuring throughout Australia. This trip will set to highlight modern caravan holiday parks around Australia, plus the activities and experiences you can enjoy whilst caravanning & camping. The main objective of this campaign is to not only get children speaking to their parents about caravanning and camping holidays but establishing the next generation of consumers.
The first week has seen the camping gang heading south from the north coast of NSW visiting destinations like Tropical Fruit World, Byron Bay cookies, Dolphin Marine Magic and lots more.
This TV co-operative will expose the kids and youth market to 7 minutes of caravanning and camping experiences, 7 days a week for a total of 12 weeks!
In conjunction with TV, CRVA has also launched a new website and a Facebook page – Camping for Kids. Camping for kids encourages a lifestyle of learning, playing and making new friends all while keeping active and healthy. The Camping for Kids website will act as an information and activity hub with an online game and colour-in pages dedicated to promoting the camping lifestyle to the children’s market (children under the age of 18 years).
