Industry Research shows industry much bigger than many think

Caravan Industry Association of Australia research demonstrates the strength, size and significance of our industry.  It’s much bigger than you think.

Supported by state caravanning associations, research conducted and collected over the past couple of years has highlighted the lack of historical concentrated data specifically relating to our industry.

“Until now, the narrative around the caravan and camping industry has been somewhat stunted and anecdotal, and has not been illustrative of the success or the enormity of the size or contribution that caravanning and camping makes to the Australia economy.  The collection of some of the findings of research conducted over the past several years into the one place allows the industry to strongly present itself to Governments at all levels, with the research being the basis of industry lobbying by state associations and the national body on behalf of industry members,” said Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO, Stuart Lamont.

To visualise this, at the recent Caravan Industry Association of Australia National Conference a video was presented highlighting some of the stats which represent the diversity and strength of the industry.

This video is a useful tool in not only demonstrating the size of the industry, but is able to capture some of the visual images which are representative of our fantastic industry.
