Victorian Caravan Parks Association Award for Employee Achiever of the Year 2017
At the recent Victorian Parks Association Gala Dinner, Bianca Hurn was the deserving recipient of the Employee Achiever of the Year 2017 Award presented by MHIA. Bianca has kindly taken the time to share with us a bit about the initiatives that she has taken as Operations Manager at Murray River Holiday Park which led to receiving this award.
Bianca explained that “This year I was very honoured to have received the Victorian Caravan Parks Association award for Employee Achiever of the Year 2017 for recognising my contributions to our family owned and operated holiday park in Moama thus far. Having come on board as the Operations Manager eighteen months ago, I have successfully rebuilt and rebranded our website, implemented an Operations Manual for the business and continue to drive our team to deliver outstanding customer service and gain excellent reviews on all platforms, these are just a few big-ticket items I believe helped achieve this award.”
Looking forward to the future, Bianca said that “I can see myself in my current position for many more years to come and I hope to continue to grow and develop our business further with exciting new renovations, to expanding our park. This industry is vastly growing and developing and I believe keeping up to date with advanced technology in our everyday systems here at Murray River Holiday Park is the key to being successful. This is a very rewarding industry to be a part of from a young age. I encourage the younger generation to join the industry in its growing bright future.”
