Top-performing park takes cohesive approach to ‘Road to a Million’
Congratulations to Broadwater Tourist Park, the top-performing caravan park in the 2024/25 ‘Road to a Million’ (RTAM) campaign.
Led by young managers Brooke Turner and Matthew McDonald (pictured), the team at Broadwater Tourist Park took a creative, consistent and cohesive approach to promoting the RTAM campaign’s consumer-facing competition throughout their park. This included the clever placement of QR competition entry codes in toilet blocks, which featured the tagline: “Don’t flush away your chance to win a million!”
“One of the key drivers of our success was ensuring our entire team was actively engaged,” said Brooke. “Every interaction – from check-in and check-out to kiosk purchases and email correspondence – included information about the ‘Road to a Million’ campaign.”
The Broadwater Tourist Park team was presented with an award in early April, with one lucky camper also given the chance to win $1 million. While the camper, Alicia, didn’t walk away as a freshly-minted millionaire, she did leave with a consolation prize and fond memories.
The RTAM campaign was designed to position caravanning and camping as Australia’s number one holiday. The competition, which concluded in late February, had 592,690 entries and over 276,500 nights booked. Read more about the campaign’s success HERE.
