
Service and Repairs Accreditation Program
The Service & Repairs Accreditation Program (SRAP) is an industry-specific scheme for the caravanning and camping industry, designed to improve business operating standards within the caravan, camper and motorhome service and repair industry.
To become accredited, service and repair businesses agree to comply with a set of standards, including legal compliance, risk management, human resource management, business improvement and a workshop equipped to an agreed standard. Accredited businesses display the accreditation key to show they are SRAP accredited.

Assessment
A self-declaration, supplemented by an onsite assessment by an independent assessor within each three-year period.

Ongoing Development
Commit to participate in any agreed future personal development course as requested on an annual basis and before renewal.

Payment
Pay an annual accreditation fee.
Note: Once Caravan Industry Association of Australia receives an application for the Service & Repairs Accreditation Program (SRAP) and a payment is made, the business will be provided with access to the SRAP Hub. The hub provides further resources, including business templates and a workbook to assist with the accreditation process.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the SRAP, the service and repair operator must be able to confirm adherence to the following:
- Operate out of a fixed business address;
- Majority of employed technicians must be full-time employees;
- Lead technician(s) must have, at a minimum, a mechanical qualification or a Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair qualification;
- Have a commitment to sign and execute a licence agreement;
- Pay all relevant fees as set out within the accreditation program.
Code of Conduct
Successful applicants granted accreditation are required to commit to the SRAP Code of Conduct, which states:
- Our organisation will endeavour to follow best business practices by ensuring continuous review and improvement of all operational documentation.
- We acknowledge our responsibility to meet the reasonable expectations of all customers and suppliers to the best of our ability.
- All our customers will be treated equally, and all reasonable concerns and queries shall be fairly and in a timely manner.
- Customers will be informed of the terms and conditions of any service or repair work conducted.
- We will commit to presenting our facilities, products and/or services in the best possible way taking reasonable measures to ensure a quality customer interaction.
- Our business recognises the responsibility to reflect a true representation of all advertising, promotional activities and product.

Accreditation Costs
As a self-funded industry program, Service & Repairs Accreditation Program (SRAP) costs have been calculated to maintain accessibility, while ensuring the program's viability. The costs are made up of an application fee and an ongoing annual fee as follows:
Application Fee
- $2,400 + GST; OR
- $1,600 + GST if a full state association member OR a contributor to the National Advocacy & Marketing Fund;
- $800 + GST if a full state association member AND a contributor to the National Advocacy & Marketing Fund.
Annual Fee
- $2,400 + GST; OR
- $1,600 + GST if a full state association member OR a contributor to the National Advocacy & Marketing Fund;
- $800 + GST if a full state association member AND a contributor to the National Advocacy & Marketing Fund.
Notes
- For the purposes of application and annual fees, businesses currently subject to any state association probationary period will not be eligible for the state association pricing discount under SRAP.
- Being accredited under SRAP does not automatically entitle access to member discounts on space charges at consumer shows, nor does it guarantee show space or preferential treatment when it comes to the allocation of show space.
