‘Caravan to a Million’ returns to increase interest in RV ownership
The highly popular ‘Caravan to a Million’ promotion returns this month, drawing increased consumer attention to trade businesses and industry-run caravan camping shows across the country.
Developed by Caravan Industry Association of Australia, and supported by all state trade associations, the promotion incentivises consumer actions such as purchasing a new RV or accessories, having a current RV serviced or repaired at a state association member dealer or repairer, or visiting an industry-run caravan camping show.
The opportunity to win $1 million is offered as a grand prize.
The 2025 promotion will build on the highly successful 2024 ‘Caravan to a Million’ campaign, which saw over 28,000 individuals enter the competition and more than 10,000 purchases recorded.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia is investing in a major national marketing campaign to maximise the promotion’s reach in 2025 – including paid digital media, PR and collaborative marketing activations, and direct communications with over 700,000 consumers via existing social media and email databases.
The marketing campaign will be amplified by the state trade associations, who represent more than 650 industry business across the country – all of which are invited to participate in the promotion at no direct cost. This ‘One Voice, One Industry’ approach is a powerful tool in bolstering industry businesses and celebrating the RV lifestyle.
‘Caravan to a Million’ will run from February to June 2025, strategically timed to encompass all major industry-run caravan camping shows.
A special thanks to our state trade associations for helping make ‘Caravan to a Million’ a major national promotion: Caravanning Queensland, Caravan & Camping Industry Association NSW, Caravan Industry Association Western Australia, Caravan Industry Victora, and Caravan & Camping SA.
