New National Board members for Caravan Industry Association of Australia
Caravan Industry Association of Australia is pleased to announce the results of its National Board election, held during its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 25 November.
G’day Parks General Manager David Smith (Parks), Green RV Group CEO Jack Green (Trade) and Leisure-Tec Australia CEO Paul Widdis (Trade) were elected to the Board for the first time.
Standing directors Donna Cocking (Parks), Sean Jenner (Parks) and Nikki Milne (Parks) were re-elected.
They will be joined on the nine-person National Board by Michael Paidoussis (Trade), Gerard Waldron (Trade) and Brad Slater (Trade), who were not up for re-election.
By virtue of her re-election, Donna Cocking will continue as Chair for a final year, in line with constitutional term limits. The positions of Vice Chair and Treasurer will be determined at the next National Board meeting, to be held over the coming weeks.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia extends its heartfelt thanks to outgoing directors Mark Glencross, Margaret Shannon and Justin Hales for their invaluable contributions to the National Board. Their vision, expertise and support have been fundamental in providing a strong strategic platform for future growth and resilience within the Australian caravan industry.
The National Board election attracted significant interest, with 20 individuals standing for election. The Association thanks all nominees for their interest.
Stuart Lamont, CEO of Caravan Industry Association of Australia, commented:
“The National Board represents a diverse group of individuals, each a strong leader in their own right. We look forward to their contributions to strategic discussions around the board table. Together, we will continue to drive the Australian caravan industry towards a prosperous and sustainable future.”
