Caravan Industry celebrates Mardi Gras Fair Day
Earlier this month, the caravan industry was represented at Mardi Gras Fair Day, one of the most exciting events on the LGBTIQ+ calendar.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia partnered with Family Parks, Let’s Go Motorhomes and Australia’s Gay Nomads to support the event with a motorhome, brochures and signage on display in the ‘Doggiewood’ section.
The day was a great success with over 80 000 people in attendance at the event, with a large number taking interest in the caravan and camping lifestyle, exploring and campervan onsite and taking information regarding caravan holiday parks.
Visitors expressed interest in the Let’s Go motorhome on display as well as the Family Parks brochures, particularly the dog-friendly promotion. Over 75% of Family Parks are pet friendly, making them an obvious choice for many pet owners.
The promotion of Broken Heel festival through Australia’s Gay Nomads at Fair Day was so successful the Broken Hill Tourist Park has had to open up a second section of the park during the festival to fit in additional bookings.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia is grateful to Let’s Go Motorhomes, Family Parks and Australia’s Gay Nomads for their support and collaboration at Mardi Gras Fair Day.
