Finalists Announced for 2026 Caravan Industry Awards

Caravan Industry Association of Australia is pleased to announce the finalists for three of its 2026 Caravan Industry Awards, to be presented at next week’s Caravan Industry National Conference on the Gold Coast.

Industry Leadership Award (Under 40)

The thl Industry Leadership Award (Under 40), formerly known as the Future Leaders Award, shines a spotlight on those already making a significant impact early in their careers.

The finalists for this year’s award are:

  • Ben Johnson (K-Mac Powerheads)
  • Breeanna McNamara (Wide Bay Caravans)
  • Brooke Turner (Broadwater Tourist Park)
  • Erin Stevenson (Storable Newbook)
  • Jacob Graham (OzXCorp)
  • Melita Mogg (Tweed Holiday Parks)

The six finalists will take part in a judging process at RACV Royal Pines Resort next Tuesday (12 May), before joining a group panel discussion during the National Conference’s opening plenary session on Wednesday (13 May).

Rising Star Award

Three finalists are in the running for the inaugural thl Rising Star Award, which recognises outstanding potential, genuine passion and a clear ambition to make a lasting contribution to the industry. The award is open to individuals aged 40 years or under, or those who have been in the industry for less than two years.

The finalists for this year’s award are:

  • Alannah Hein (SA Parks Association and Revenue Creatures)
  • Matilda Coles (Sunshine Coast Holiday Parks)
  • Matthew McDonald (Broadwater Tourist Park)

RV Salesperson of the Year Award

Outstanding sales professionalism will be recognised through the presentation of the Ultimate Business Systems – RV Salesperson of the Year Award. The recipient will demonstrate exceptional customer service, product knowledge and understanding of consumer law, while contributing to their business’s success.

The finalists for this year’s award are:

  • Andrew Sloan (Market Direct Group)
  • Louis Shepherd (Green RV)
  • Vicky Taylor (Find My Van)
  • Wayne Chevis (Market Direct Group)

The four finalists will participate in a judging process next Tuesday ahead of the National Conference.

All three awards will be presented at next Friday’s  (15 May) Caravan Industry National Conference Gala Dinner, alongside other prestigious industry accolades, including the Eric Hayman OAM Award for Excellence, the Richard Davis OAM Award for contributions to the peak national body and the Gerry Ryan OAM Award for Innovation.

Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO Stuart Lamont congratulated the finalists on their achievements.

“The standard of nominations across all award categories was exceptional this year, reflecting the talent, commitment and passion of the people who make our industry what it is,” Lamont said.

“Congratulations to all our finalists. We look forward to celebrating you, along with other significant industry contributors, at next week’s event.”
