Meet the finalists for the 2018 CaravanCampingSales Future Leaders Award
We are proud to announce the finalists of this year’s Future Leaders Award! The Future Leaders Award is an opportunity for the industry’s up and comers to be recognised and rewarded for dedication and outstanding achievements.
The winner of the Future Leaders Award will receive up to $10,000 towards industry study or professional development and an opportunity to attend a Caravan Industry Association of Australia National Board meeting, to observe and provide input into important industry discussions. This will be announced at the Industry Gala Dinner on Friday the 18th May. This year, the other finalists of the Future Leaders Award will receive up to $1,000 towards industry study or professional development.
Our finalists for this year are:
Brad Hooper- AL-KO
Brad leads the marketing team at AL-KO in Australia & New Zealand. He has been a member of the Caravan Industry Association of Australia’s Future Leaders Committee since its inception in 2014 and is passionate about applying innovative thinking to the future of the industry.
Daniel Tilton – Next Generation Holiday Parks
After 15+ years in the holiday park industry, working everywhere from the front desk to senior management roles for a large corporate, Daniel became the CEO of Next Generation Holiday Parks in 2015. This award-winning “family multinational” now has two parks in Queensland and two parks in New Zealand.
Jessica Dineen- Dineen Tourism Management- Noosa River Holiday Park
Jessica grew up in holiday parks and has more than a decade of industry experience. She aims to be an active contributor and provide a pathway in the industry for other like-minded individuals whilst continuing her family legacy with the same passion, innovation and commitment.
Margaret Shannon – Ballina Beach Village
Margaret comes from a very strong hospitality and tourism background holding a Bachelor of Tourism and Marketing and over the course of 15 years worked her way up from front line hotel operations into management roles. During her time in the holiday park industry she has honed her skills and become intricately involved in the operations, marketing and business strategy of the parks she manages.
Max Taylor – GoRV
Max Taylor is the managing editor and co-founder of digital media company GoRV. For many years, he was the managing editor of one of Australia’s largest RV publications. He has caravanned all around Australia and has written extensively about the RV industry, reviewing its products and profiling its people.
Renee Napthali – Caravan RV Camping & Caravan Repair Centre
After growing up within the Caravan & Camping Industry, Renee has been employed as Operations Manager for her family business Caravan Repair Centre for the past 5 years. After the successful launch of her eCommerce store Caravan RV Camping, Renee recently launched additional ‘Caravan Lifestyle’ promotion ventures: The Modern Foodie, Adventure Bash & CRVC Adventure Team.
Stuart Peddle – REDARC Electronics
Stuart’s career in the caravan and camping industry began 8 years ago when he joined the team at REDARC. Since then, he has worked in a range of sales and technical roles in the business. Today he is the Technical and Training Manager working with RV OEM customers, understanding the market demands, and driving ideas into REDARC product development that reflect the voice of the customer.
