Major national TV promotion highlighting value of industry

Our latest official partnership with Channel Seven’s Sunrise, Australia’s number one prime time morning show, officially entered the live broadcast element of the month-long partnership this morning.

Sunrise host Sam Mac broadcast live from BIG4 Saltwater @ Yamba, showcasing the best of caravan holiday parks and he will continue this each morning all week promoting the caravan camping industry to millions of Australian viewers.

Throughout the week the three lucky families who have won the all-expenses paid trip will feature heavily in this promotion; this is designed to provide relatable and ‘real characters’ for the audience to relate to and support Sam Mac’s endorsement.

BIG4 Holiday Parks and Let’s Go Motorhomes are also on board as our partners for the Sam Mac Convoy.  Without the support of industry partners, major national TV and digital promotions such as these would not be achievable as frequently.

The promotion is designed to highlight the many wonderful activities Australians can enjoy this summer and the opportunities available through caravan and camping holidays.

Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO Stuart Lamont noted that while Christmas was filling fast for many caravanning destinations, it was important to keep caravanning and camping front of mind in the eyes of the consumer as they contemplate their upcoming holidays.

“With so many options in today’s world in which to spend your discretionary time and money, it is vital that we keep industry product in the media.  Having a three week pre-promote as well as the ability to display some of our industry’s finest using mainstream television editorial, is just part of our strategy to consistently showcase our exciting lifestyle to Australian consumers.”

Throughout the week the families, along with Sam Mac and the Sunrise crew, will visit BIG4 Saltwater @ Yamba Holiday Park, BIG4 Tweed Billabong Holiday Park, BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park, Rivershore Resort and BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort.
