Stronger Together: A wrap-up of the 2025 National Conference
The Caravan Industry National Conference underlined its position as the premier business and insights platform for Australia’s caravan and camping sector with an impactful 2025 event.
Held from 14–16 May at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, the conference brought together over 1,000 industry professionals for three days of expert insights, valuable networking, and forward-thinking discussions on the industry’s future.
A record 120 exhibitors showcased products and services spanning the entire value chain, while over 50 keynote and expert speakers delivered a powerful mix of strategic insights, practical advice, and inspirational stories to help drive growth across industry businesses.

Navigating change cohesively
Throughout the conference, delegates heard a clear message – the caravan and camping sector is evolving rapidly in response to global economic uncertainty, climate pressures, and tightening regulatory frameworks, among other factors.
To stay competitive, industry leaders were encouraged to embrace new technologies, meet rising customer expectations, and improve productivity across their operations.
Speaking to this, Stuart Lamont, CEO of event organiser Caravan Industry Association of Australia, emphasised the importance of a cohesive industry working together to achieve a common goal – helping everyday Australians enjoy safe and memorable adventures.
“The National Conference provides an unparalleled opportunity to come together, exchange ideas, and have important discussions about the industry’s future,” Lamont said.
“If the collaboration, passion and ingenuity on display at this year’s conference are anything to go by, our industry won’t just adapt to this changing landscape – it will thrive in it.”
