Australia’s largest print and digital RV, caravan and camping partnership launches this Sunday, an initiative designed to stimulate the market and make caravan and camping the No. 1 holiday and lifestyle choice for Australians. 

Over the next five weeks, 37.9 million printed newspapers with an aggregate readership of 116 million will feature RV product and highlight the true Aussie camping lifestyle.

Strategic Timing

The timing of the promotion strategically positions RV product and positive lifestyle messaging as Australians transition from winter to spring with school holidays and Father’s Day on the horizon plus positions industry as the No.1 holiday choice as Australians start to consider their summer holiday options and their RV requirements for the upcoming summer holiday season.

Successful Partnership

This hugely successful partnership between Caravan Industry Association of Australia and News Corp Ltd has been bolstered further in 2022 with an extended promotional period starting this Sunday, 21 August and continuing until Sunday 25 September.

Each of the 17 Newscorp titles will carry industry messaging and imagery, ensuring the benefits of the camping lifestyle are being highlighted daily to millions of Australians.

Readers and digital subscribers of all 17 NewsCorp mastheads around the country including the Daily Telegraph, the Courier Mail, the Sunday Mail and more will have the opportunity to win one of two major prizes, a Crusader Caravans ‘Excalibur Serenity’ valued at $110,000 or a Crusader Caravans ‘Gladiator’ valued at $90,000.

Over the promotional period 75 winners will each receive a G’Day Parks Voucher worth $500 and 15 winners will each receive a $4000 Dometic Camping Pack.

TV and Radio partners extends reach of print and digital

Additionally, the competition will be promoted on Foxtel digital channels and across ARN and SCA (Southern Cross Austereo) syndicated radio networks that will run 15-second radio & TV segments promoting the Win a Weekender activity.  These activities provide a fantastic opportunity to amplify the activity by supporting the print and digital channels.  Increasing the media mix will also ensure a larger audience is reached and provides further blanket coverage of industry messaging for this initiative.

How To Enter

To enter, all readers must either subscribe digitally or buy a copy of their NewsCorp local paper and enter the daily code word online, with Caravan Industry Association of Australia holding the rights to the digital entry points. The more times people enter, the larger their chance of winning.
