Winnebago Pink Minnie Caravan Auctioned for Charity

Update: The Pink Minnie auction raised $32,197.00 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) auctioned its iconic Winnebago Pink Minnie caravan on eBay during November. Funds raised from the auction sale will help the NBCF in its mission to fund life-changing breast cancer research.

NBCF’s much-loved Pink Minnie was kindly donated by Winnebago Australia in 2015 and has been on many memorable journeys with NBCF to promote major fundraising campaigns including the 2016 Dometic Follow the Sun campaign. Follow the Sun saw ambassadors travel around to numerous caravan parks from North Queensland to Victoria, engaging communities and encouraging their love of caravanning while raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

NBCF CEO Professor Sarah Hosking said, “On average, every day in Australia, 8 women will succumb to their battle with breast cancer – 8 daughters, wives, sisters – 8 mums. It is 8 too many!”
