Becoming Accredited

1. Register Your Interest
Confirm your business is eligible to become accredited and complete the business information form to express your interest. We’ll then contact you to discuss the program and answer any questions.
2. Perform Self-Assessment and Apply
Conduct a self-assessment to confirm that your business currently meets or is committed to working towards meeting the accreditation criteria. Once satisfied, complete an online application and indicate how you would like to pay the application fee.
Note: Once Caravan Industry Association of Australia receives an application for the Service & Repairs Accreditation Program (SRAP) and a payment is made, the business will be provided with access to the SRAP section of the Industry Portal. The portal provides further resources – including business templates and a workbook to assist with the accreditation process.
3. Gather Evidence
Collect evidence of your internal business policies and procedures to demonstrate your business meets the accreditation program criteria. Where policies and processes are not in place, self-help business templates and other resources are available through the SRAP to assist your business in navigating this step. Once the service and repair operator is satisfied it has the evidence to comply with the SRAP criteria, notify us to schedule a formal onsite audit.
4. Independent Assessment
Undergo an onsite audit by an independent assessor. The assessor will review the evidence of industry-leading internal policies and procedures and determine the operator’s suitability for accreditation. If gaps remain, the assessor will work with the operator to implement the required policies and procedures to ensure the accreditation criteria is met.
5. Accreditation and Ongoing Development
Once accredited, the operator commits to the SRAP Code of Conduct and to maintaining compliance to the accreditation criteria standards. An accreditation certificate, a SRAP Code of Conduct certificate, a window decal and a promotional sign are presented for display within the business, and the SRAP logo is made available for display and use in the business’s promotional materials.
