Eligibility and Requirements

The Service & Repairs Accreditation Program (SRAP) aligns with Caravan Industry Association of Australia’s goal of strengthening business practices and professionalism across the caravanning and camping industry – reducing risk for businesses and ultimately delivering greater confidence and better outcomes for consumers.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the SRAP, the service and repair operator must be able to confirm adherence to the following:
- Have been operating for over twelve (12) months under their existing ownership (and directorship if applicable) structure.
- Operate out of a fixed business address.
- Majority of employed technicians must be full-time employees.
- Lead technician(s) must have, at a minimum, a mechanical qualification or a Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair qualification.
- Have a commitment to sign and execute a licence agreement.
- Pay all relevant fees as set out within the accreditation program.
Criteria
The SRAP accreditation criteria outline the policies and procedures required to demonstrate that a business operates at an industry-leading standard and is suitable for acceptance into the program.
Evidence of these policies and procedures must be provided to the independent assessor during the onsite audit.
